【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtobeusedfordeterminingtheconsistencyanddensityofstifftoextremelydryconcretemixturescommonwhenusingroller-compactedconcreteconstruction.Becauseofthestifftoextremelydryconsistencyofsomeroller-compactedconcretemixtures,thestandardVebetestmethodofroddingthespecimeninaslumpconeissubstitutedbyProceduresAandB.ProcedureAusesa22.7-kg[50-lb]surchargeandisusedforconcreteconsolidatedbyroller-compactionmethodswhentheconsistencyoftheconcreteisverystifftoextremelydry.ProcedureBusesa12.5-kg[27.5-lb]surchargeandisusedforconcreteconsolidatedbyroller-compactionmethodswhentheconsistencyoftheconcreteisstifftoverystiffconsistency,butnotextremelydry.1.1Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheconsistencyofconcreteusingavibratingtableandasurchargeandtodeterminethedensityoftheconsolidatedconcretespecimen.Thistestmethodisapplicabletofreshlymixedconcrete,preparedinboththelaboratoryandthefield,havinganominalmaximumsizeaggregateof50mm[2in.]orless.Ifthenominalmaximumsizeofaggregateislargerthan50mm[2in.],thetestmethodisapplicableonlywhenperformedonthefractionpassingthe50-mm[2-in.]sievewiththelargeraggregatebeingremovedinaccordancewithPracticeC172.1.2Thistestmethod,intendedforuseintestingroller-compactedconcrete,maybeapplicabletotestingothertypesofconcretesuchascement-treatedaggregateandmixturessimilartosoil-cement.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Warningx2014;Freshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)

【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationprovidesspecificationsforsocio-acousticsurveysandsocialsurveyswhichincludequestionsonnoiseeffects(brieflyreferredtohereafteras"socialsurveys").Itsscopeincludesquestionstobeasked,responsescales,keyaspectsofconductingthesurvey,andreportingtheresults.ThisTechnicalSpecificationdoesnotprescribemethodsfortheanalysisofdataobtainedfromthesequestions.Itisrecognizedthatspecificrequirementsandprotocolsofsomesocialandsocio-acousticstudiesmaynotpermittheuseofsomeorallofthepresentspecifications.ThisTechnicalSpecificationinnowaylessensthemerit,valueorvalidityofsuchresearchstudies.ThescopeofthisTechnicalSpecificationisrestrictedtosurveysconductedtoobtaininformationaboutnoiseannoyance"athome".Surveysconductedtoobtaininformationaboutnoiseannoyanceinothersituations,suchasrecreationalareas,workenvironmentsandinsidevehicles,arenotincluded.ThisTechnicalSpecificationconcernsonlythequestionsonnoiseannoyanceusedinasocialsurveyandthemostimportantadditionalspecificationsneededtoaccomplishahighlevelofcomparabilitywithotherstudies.Otherelementswhicharerequiredtoprovidehigh-qualitysocialsurveys,butwhicharenotspecificforsocialsurveysonnoise(suchassamplingmethods),canbefoundintextbooks(e.g.seereferences[1]and[2]).CompliancewiththerecommendationsofthisTechnicalSpecificationdoesnotguaranteethecollectionofaccurate,preciseorreliableinformationabouttheprevalenceofnoise-inducedannoyanceanditsrelationshiptonoiseexposure.Otheraspectsofstudydesign,aswellasuncertaintiesofestimationandmeasurementofnoiseexposure,caninfluencetheinterpretabilityofsurveyfindingstoagreatextent.
