【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodmaybeusedtodeterminethewatercontentofsoilsandthein-placedensityofsoilsusingaTDRapparatus.1.2Thistestmethodappliestosoilsthathave30%orlessbyweightoftheirparticlesretainedonthe19.0-mm(3/4-in.)sieve.1.3Thistestmethodissuitableforuseasameansofacceptanceforcompactedfillorembankments.1.4Thistestmethodmaynotbesuitablefororganicandhighlyplasticsoils.1.5AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD6026.1.5.1Themethodusedtospecifyhowdataarecollected,calculated,orrecordedinthisstandardisnotdirectlyrelatedtotheaccuracytowhichthedatacanbeappliedindesignorotheruses,orboth.Howoneappliestheresultsobtainedusingthisstandardisbeyonditsscope.1.6Twoalternativeproceduresareprovided.1.6.1ProcedureAinvolvestwotestsinthefield,anin-placetestandatestinamoldcontainingmaterialexcavatedfromthein-placetestlocation.Theapparentdielectricconstantisdeterminedinbothtests.1.6.2ProcedureBinvolvesonlyanin-placetestbyincorporatingabulkelectricalconductivityinadditiontotheapparentdielectricconstant.1.7ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.ForadditionalinformationconsultASTMSI101,8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
